This is a thread for Minnions who are also comic authors to share their series!

If you aren't a comic author yourself but know that someone on the forum or in the Disqus comments is, feel free to share their comic here, too!

For discussions about the comics and comic-making process, go to the Forumite-Made Webcomic Discussion Thread.

My comic Catspaw is located here. Started for a contest, it's grown to be a bit longer than I envisioned... planning to end it within 30 chapters, hopefully somewhat less ;)

Great idea!
Danelle Malan, known here as Dwuff, and her partner Ben Geldenhuys have an excellent comic called "Cottonstar," here:  http://cotton-star.com/

It's also a post-apocalyptic scenario, but with a very different spin, taking place in a post-global-warming world and drawing on the peoples and cultures of the Southern Hemisphere.  (South Africa and the Maori of New Zealand, for starters.)
"The music of what happens," said great Fionn, "that is the finest music in the world."

Oh wow sorry I'm only noticing this now! Thanks so much for the plug! Yes, we do indeed make this comic. :) We did however change Reka's heritage from Maori to mixed race South African, because of cultural sensitivity issues. Here are a few pages in case anyone wanted to take a peek:

Yes, we do indeed make this comic.

*waves hello*

I love it! I've been reading it since very early on, and have taken the step of donating via Patreon - not much, but a bit. I heartily recommend it!

Aw you guys! Thank you, your nice comments really made my day. :3 <3 And Richard, you are my hero. It's because of our generous Patreon supporters that I can afford my medication each month, and that is a huge weight off our shoulders. Thank you so much!

Webcomic-Making Discussion Thread

A lot of forum members have webcomics in the works or are interested in starting a webcomic. This thread can be a useful place for discussing planning, hosting, posting, the process of having and keeping a webcomic and complaining about how much planning is enough, false starts, too much planning and not enough motivation, etc etc etc

Announce your webcomic here, not here!

...false starts...

Yeah, that's me.  I have one slightly decent comic I managed to create 24 pages for (it's a shorter comic, so that's a significant portion).  But motivation was an issue.  Then I hopped around to post cover pages of some other stories, and they didn't happen at all.  Anyway, my webcomic Invade Darkhumor's Lair! is on Facebook.  Maybe I'll finish it now.  Because, Cartoonist Camaraderie!
An innate goofball who wanted to be elegant and composed.  That ain't happening.

Okay, I'm leaving my study sabbatical for a bit, since I recognize this exact premise from somewhere!

Should we merge this, or...?

It turns out we have more than two webcomic by Minnions! Yay!

I think...

Edit: To clarify, I found the topic on PAGE 6, so yeah.

Good eye, Dane!  Curry, are you OK with merging these threads?

Um, I knew that topic existed, but I'd argue that they're not the exact same because that topic is for listing/sharing comics, this is for talking about our comics and the comic-making process. I don't think they should be merged, but that's not my decision.
