The avatar is mine, of Helle-Mai, from the Self-inserts thread.  I had that one under a Spoiler, though, & I'm not sure anyone saw it.
I'll tell you a secret, the whole thing is done in Word and Paint. I possess no specialist software.  And yet, the most time-consuming part is finding the right poses from the archives.  I've been peching away at it for the last 3 weeks, an hour or two when I got time (hence poor neglected responsibilities), and then a last push today, because I will have no time for the next several weeks.

I have the idea of processing SSSS through Bad Translator in the style of the Homestuck badtranslation project I used to take part in, "Buffet Breakfast". Sadly, the website hasn't been working properly since the 4th of August, so I can't work on it right now, but I have portions of the work-in-progress SSSS character page.

Bad Translator still randomly flips the gender of characters and makes up nonsensical family relations between them, like in the good old days. I wonder how it will mess up the plot - Homestuck was turned by BT into a hilariously insane international spy thriller with absolutely schizoid megalomaniac characters scheming for world domination through various international organizations, for example.

The working title of the BT!SSSS is "In the Future, Peace of Mind". Other titles I got:

Oh yes! Bad Translator is hysterically funny. I can just imagine it producing things like one of the classics from the early days of machine translation. When given the proverb 'The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak' the machine produced 'The vodka is agreeable but the meat has gone off'.
