I don't hate them, but I got tired of seeing them everywhere. And I also didn't like Despicable Me that much, for me it's a little overrated...

I guess I'll sign on to this statement. Hate is a strong word, more like annoyance with how often they show up.

I don't know much about Warhammer but I'd say Emil and Sigrun both are suitable for that crossover. Not so sure about the rest of the cast.

Er... I was under the assumption that Mikkel's Danish...? :P

Okay, technically, Åsa shouted to all of them from the distance on the original page, so I assume that if she heard about the dangerous, new rival in the knitting business, she would do the same to Trond, without bothering to go near him. One wouldn't want to give him another chance to gather blackmail-material, now, would she?  8)
Maybe I should have included another picture with Åsa furiously knitting?

Actually, I would imagine that it started out with the "gift harpoons" the dear captain donated to them along with the food supplies.
I'm starting to develop a headcanon about Mikkel working on a secret, Danish one-needle knitting technic. (Simple crotcheting would be too easy. :P) It's more fitting for all the random, unending slivers of hair *everywhere* on the damn vehicle, than a normal-sized knitting needle. Although, now, that Reynir arrived, he may consider taking up whaling harpoons.
