So here's a thing I've been putting together for a while, a spreadsheet index of every SSSS episode!

Sadly, Wyrm, I can't read your masterwork. The files opened and put themselves into Dropbox (I didn't tell them to, they just did it), then informed me that 'This file cannot be opened in Dropbox'. Grrrr! Yet more internet weirdness - sometimes I think I just shouldn't touch a computer. Ah well, I shall doubtless get to read them some day....

I agree with the other people that this is full deserving of ending up amongst the thingies! Impressive work :D
I don't have the power to put it in the thingies myself, but in the meantime if you start a new thread with this, or if you'd like me to split off your original post I can sticky it to make it easier for people to find it :)

I've uploaded the latest versions of the index to a new location that should hopefully work for everyone. I've also updated the links at the start of the thread.
More notes have been added, and I've included a timeline column that attempts to keep track of days on the expedition. This is a bit tricky at parts and relies on a bunch of assumptions, but I've done my best :)

I know this is an old thread, but you don't know how much I appreciate this SSSS page index! Want to draw that one scene, but don't know where the exact page was - no worries, the page index saves the time of going through the whole comic.
I just want to thank you Purple Wyrm for making this.

I second Temteno's appreciation for the index. In fact, I like it so much I decided to update it. I hope you're not offended, Purple Wyrm! I figured that you were busy with other things. It was a really nice way to do a bit of a re-read. I tried to maintain the general feel of the index, but probably strayed a fair bit, stylistically.

I used the days of the expeditions figured out by Purple Wyrm and Temteno along with the date on the Bæjarblaðið, and calculated backwards and forwards from that. My google search history looks a little odd, including cruises from Iceland to Denmark, the average speed of a recreational rowboat, sunrise and sunset times for Finland in August, and miscellaneous other oddities. The result is this time-line. It's full of assumptions, guesstimates, and wild stabs in the dark, so anyone with too much time on their hands is welcome to have at it. Thanks! High praise from you. :D Temteno pointed out a Finnish grammatical error in the Hotakainen's island name, which I've not had a chance to fix but will soon. Evidently I've not learned as much Finnish as I'd hoped. :-\ Good motivator to keep at it!
