Gryffindors aren't just brave when they have to be--they seek out adventure.
I haven’t had the chance to read any of the Harry Potter series. Can someone enlighten me about what school does what?
Ravenclaw: intelligence/thirst for knowledge
One thing we should keep in mind when playing with this exercise is that Slytherins aren't necessarily evil. They come across that way because the books are written from a Gryffindor perspective.
That and the fact that so many of them are evil...
This is a subject I like thinking about a lot! This fanfic series (https://archiveofourown.org/series/1282724) has some decent headcanons for which houses the characters would fit in...Kira's series! I was being lazy and procrastinating finding the fic to post here because I'm inclined to agree with the sorting there ^_^
Wouldn't that mean Tuuri is a Gryffindor? That's a fair point. I'd still put Tuuri in Ravenclaw, though, because it wasn't adventure she was seeking out so much as new experiences. She wanted to see everything and learn about the world, not kill trolls and be a hero.
Couldn't Siv also be said to be a Slytherin? She grew bored with her job when she was unable to do anything truly great in it even though she was doing incredibly important work, and she had no qualms about sending a group of underfunded kinda-adventurers to their likely deaths in the hopes of getting a bit richer and improving her own lot in life. Sounds pretty Slytherin to me.
