A very interesting thread indeed!

I have so far managed to read through about 200 of it´s pages, but yeah, it takes forever. But there are some incredible gems in here, so should you ever have several hours... or days... of free time left, it is very worth to do a bit of scouting in there. But of course it isn´t absolutely necessary.

A lot of the (especially older) works have also been repostet on the SSSS pinterest board (https://www.pinterest.de/kahlilego/stand-still-stay-silent-ssss/), which is also a gigantic timesink, but since without the surrounding conversation a little  easier to get through. So if you want to see a best-off or something along the lines relatively quickly, I recommend looking into that. :)

(jeez I spend wayyy to much time on this forum...)

Neither do any of mine. I think a few of them are just lost to softwares not being supported anymore and people changing their tumblr-usernames which lets the links lead to a dead-end. But I think there are some of the ones that are lost here on pinterest. I recognized one or two from descriptions given on the art-thread.

My first time ever doing something digitally! It's a bit wonky, but practice makes perfect. (I spent more time getting used to the drawing software than I did actually drawing lol). Also, thanks to thegreyarea for giving me a bit of advise on getting a tablet of my own. I would love criticism and advise!

ooh lovely! I like the colors you chose for the wings, they fit Lalli well! Also I'm so on board with an SSSS Wings AU  :haw:

And yep, getting used to the software is the Not Cool part of learning digital art, but once you're done with it you'll have lots of fun! ^^
My advice would be: try to put some solor into the shading and play with blend modes. I really like the bold shading on your piece, but I think it would look even better with a colored shadow and a few highlights here and there. Other than that, continue practicing, you'll only get better with each drawing!  :3
