I don't like being that person, but where it mentions the update up at the top, it should say "you're" instead of "your"...
(I just find grammar mistakes really distracting, sorry)

OK, so how do I indicate I'm fluent in American English and learning "Proper" English (UK)? [yes, it's a joke]

I tried USA, United States, UK, United Kingdom ... I see there are flag codes for both but I don't know the magic words.

What you have in your signature is almost correct. The magic must be done with lowercase letters. ;)
