...I always thought that we were referring to Derelict Airports in Y90. So almost all airports would be eligible because they would have been abandoned for 90 years. Jitter's airport, on Joensuu, is operational these days, as are many other, like Gwenno's Narita, on Tokyo. (and then IDK if Cabo Ruivo wouldn't be eligible because it's not derelict, it ceased to exist (but for the dock).
Anyway I'm presently inclined to choose it, because it's an interesting story. (Even feeling tempted to write a story about aviators and seaplanes, let's say on Y110...). Thanks again! :)

If the term's meant to refer to their in-story/Y90 state, then IMHO all places that have been an airport ever would qualify, because the canon situation is that air travel is nonexistent in the Known World, and thus they all ceased to function as an airport.

But, yeah, obviously the definition was neither fully pinpointed nor universally adhered to so far ... likewise with the few "Abandoned Cities" picked so far (just my luck, i started a shortlist to prepare for picking mine - way in the future - just yesterday) ... seems that the "Sunken Ships" remain the only ones where a good deal of the freshly anointed tried to take the rank literally and per RL today as they picked one.

You're correct. If we consider their Y90 condition not only all airports would fit the definition* but also almost all the actual ships and cities on the World. I can see how it would be more interesting if we limit ourselves to the ones presently derelict, sunk or abandoned. Maybe we should make it more clear, somewhere, and suggest that for anyone that crosses a threshold (while not making it mandatory, OC).
Anyway I'm happy that you're making such nice plans! :) (and would love to see that list one day)
