Are there any ships from history that grab you?  I chose the U.S.S. Arizona (one of the ones sunk at Pearl Harbor) because I grew up in Hawaii and my father is a retired naval officer.

...literally the only sunken ship I know is the Titanic. History was never my strong point.

I don't know if anyone has even claimed the Titanic? My second pick would have been the 'Squirrel', because Humphrey Gilbert, or the 'Revenge' because Richard Grenville. How about one of those.

In deference to your current location, I looked up Chinese instances of ship burials, and Wikipedia suggests only boat-shaped items.  You could claim a Viking ship, though.

Ooh, can I claim Cassini? (Not really a ship, but it's going to be about as sunk as you can get once its mission has ended...)
