I made a drawing while being stuck waiting for my kid, but am not getting how to get the .jpg off my tumblr from my phone,  so I will edit that in later.

The town wasn't quite as exciting earlier today.

Looks like they had a nice stroll through town!

Meanwhile I got another note in my inbox asking if Reynir could ride a sheep into battle so...

...because he will use sheep to exterminate his enemies? No? Okay then, I'll go hide in the corner of shame again.

Hehee, looks like you got around the question of having to wear two masks! Also, reminds me of the lampoon edition of Bored of the Rings, where the riders of Rohan got morphed into sheep-riders.  (Aside:  oh my, Bored of the Rings has a Wikipedia entry, and is still in print! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bored_of_the_Rings  Hey, look, Windy, there's a Swedish edition!)

Somebody in the comments section compared Reynir to Cousin Oskaar (the dude screaming about day light savings) and I have no self-control.

On a side note I have no idea what the weather's actually doing mid-spring in Iceland, so excuse that if it's inaccurate.

When I was there a couple weeks ago, and the peak temp ranged from 15°C to 20°C, while the lows made me feel freezing in my optimal outfit for 10°C minimals. In summer, the light issue is completely the other way around, with the sun setting quite late an rising quite early (but I dodged the worse of that, which is around June and July).

And ....thank you for this lovely work, the subtle purples of the dreamscape are making me swoon.  Reynir's expression is so very well considered and rendered!  The details on the linen cloth!  I saw the WIP of the lantern hiding the lovely work you did on Lalli's cloak, c'est la vie.
