The red witch from yesterday's/today's Google doodle. And first loser of the global candy cup

Poor thing, not only did she lost, she lost against the crazy cat loving girl!

Come on red team, do we really suck that much? :D
Awww this is so cute ~ I was also rooting for the red team , too bad we lost XC

aaaaa I really enjoy seeing your OCs all dressed up or with their families but THIS ONE THOUGH. His face is so great.
I also think the mom escapes the anime curse by braiding her hair instead of having it in a loose ponytail.

EDIT: wow i can't believe i _forgot_, but it's November now!!!

Hehehe thanks. For some reason I really enjoy drawing people screaming in fear.

Oh yeah and here's the rest of the inktobers: :)

These are two of MissHoneyham's characters, because she drew my mask kids a while back:

And a group costume: :)

I finished my comic page early tonight so I got to sculpt a little bit (which I have been wanting to do for a few weeks). I decided to take on a more ambitious sculpt than I've previously done, of my OC Mordigor on horse. This dude: http://gallery.smirtouille.com/14/art/Mordigor.jpg
I don't know yet how much armor he'll be wearing. And this sculpt I would want to ultimately 3D print, so I won't be using any fancy hair modeling nor color nor anything.

This is how far I got tonight:

EDIT: after another hour of work I made the horse more descent. xD

And a rough concept to develop my idea further, looking for the main curves and flow of the piece.

Did I kill this thread or...? I'm sorry. Should I put sculpture stuff in some other thread?
Not sure if this would have any correlation with the daily shortage of art but I won't criticize your art in this thread no longer, since there is now a thread for requesting art advice. (In case my doing that bothered people.) (I don't know.)

It's fine where it is, and this thread is usually not that active. I catalogue all the art that people post in it, and have been doing so for months. This is actually the most active it's been in a while, usually something shows up once every other day or so. Sometimes it goes a week, sometimes we get two posts a day. The only art thread that is consistently active every day is the SSSS art thread which usually grows about 2 pages a day. Feel free to post more things here though. It might get more lively.

Also thanks for keeping critiques to the critique thread :)

Feartheviolas: Oh, good to hear, then. I feel better!  :D

And here I was thinking I had done the same.

Let's flood this thread with art together. /o/

Aaand I don't have any new art currently so I'll have to contribute with one from earlier this year. Horse head sculpt.

Just popping in to say that Smirty, your art is amazing! I love your sculpts, please keep them coming, they really add to the variety of this thread! And don't worry about inactivity: I can say for a fact myself (along with many others), that there might me a bit more traffic in this thread that you actually see: I'm a lurker, and often frequent pages without saying anything (even if I love the art ::) )

Wow, they fit so well in your style! I really wanna rewatch Over the Garden Wall now.... (to any of you who haven't seen it, WATCH IT. It is awesome and only ten episodes, so not a huge commitment)

Smirty, Haiz, and Luth: Thanks! It's also kind of funny (to me) how two of you brought up style because my inktober this year was kind of all over the place.

(Aaaand also I agree everyone should watch Over the Garden Wall.)

Smirty: Your sculpts are really, really amazing. 3-d modelling in general tends to fascinate me, partly because I'm so unfamiliar with it, I guess.

Piney: Pirate Topy is most best.

If only I had extra stuff to flood this thread with...

Piney: Pirate Topy is most best.

Yeah!! I was originally only going to draw her and not the others. I think the gap teeth suits the look well. :)
