What? It's been nearly three weeks since I've posted here? I guess I should dump some stuff that I liked, forgot about, and then uploaded to tumblr, in that order.

Spoiler: "its not really that much stuff" • show

Please forgive my coat of plates the internet wasn't working I had no reference. :/

Wasn't sure whether to post this one here or in the OC showcase, since that is what she is, but that would require additional information and stuff and the only thing I'm currently capable of composing into words is her name. Which is Aithne. Which I'm not really sure I like but whatever. Maybe one day I will get myself together enough to post about all that there. *shakes fist at storytelling gods*

Thanks!

They are really easy to do though, just a layer set to linear dodge and a few yellow lines.

Redrew some really old OCs! Every time I drew Addyson, though, I always made the eyes to big, even now. :-[
They were from a post-apocalyptic book I tried writing. Tried. And failed.

Piney, that is so cute! I love the detail in the fur!

I will probably die from this because I stayed up until 3am to make it, but I have never been more proud of a drawing in my life.

I can't draw or paint for s#*@ (well, a little bit digitally), but I do a lot of graphic design and image manipulations (usually with my photography); is that (and/or photography) welcome/wanted here?  A really kinda weird example would be a Christmas card I made for my Minecraft friends:

Spoiler: show

And while I also used to do abstract sculpture and mobiles (big Alexander Calder fan here), my "3D" work is pretty much limited to models and such now, as follows (another Christmas card for World of Tanks, with one of my T-34/85 builds, followed by a train I adopted from a friend after their house burned down and repainted and redecorated vaguely-historically):

PaperArtillery, I especially like the train - not just because it is beautifully painted and sitting in an appropriate complementary scene, but because it brings back some fond memories.
As a child, I was given dolls and Lionel trains. I ignored the dolls, made complex track layouts with some model buildings to run my trains on, and occasionally wrapped one of the engines in a blanket and carried it around.... I have no idea. I loved trains, particularly steam locomotives.
Thanks for the memories.

I'm glad it could do something for someone.  Here's a link to a 4-image Imgur gallery of that set.  https://imgur.com/gallery/HnVqy

The gallery also includes more backstory on the model, which (as mentioned briefly) has been through a lot and is from 1977-1979 or so.

It's... old. As in, I-did-this-in-October old. Chat people might remember it. Since I'm slowly starting to interact here again, I figured I might as well share it. I put enough hours into it to want to share it with as many people as possible ^^;
