And this! This is super cool! I love the light and the colors. And her hair. <3 Wow.
aaahhh thank you! i admit drawing sparrow's hair is pretty much always my #1 reason to draw sparrow in particular, so i'm glad to be successful ^__~
and hahahah i always forget that most people mistake xyr for a girl - xe is non-binary and uses xe or they pronouns actually! sparrow never gets offended at gender confusion so don't worry, you had no way of knowing. (greygale, on the other hand..........)

Yesss thrilling intent! I ought to make some fanart too :P

ouuaahhhh i know i never say anything clever or original but i really like your style a lot, this is a nice comic page composition and i really like the Unnamed Paladin for some reason?? ? ? (ok what if there was a running joke that we never learn the paladin's name. although it isn't such an original concept to do that and it's probably more useful to have a name hahah.........)

Thanks Haiz!
Know that whatever you say, be it a compliment or criticism, is certainly appreciated on my end!

I think I'll give her a name related to light or sun or something on those lines. For now, I think Áine (a  Gaelic name that means radiance) can work.

--
Must also say that your drawing of Sparrow is really good!
Really like the golden lightning, especially how it merges with the lineart at some points; and is reinforced by the grass.

This is so awesome! :D If you ever draw more of it, please show me!And this!

Thanks Tr, i'll certainly do!

Anyone in the mood for really melodramatic comics with giant birds?
Spoiler: show
Spoiler: poem/narration • show
Over countless icy mountains,
Rocky, snow-tipped, lit by sunlight,
Over many frozen rivers,
In a cave of hidden wonders,
Lies the home of ancient legends.

Many say these words are nonsense,
I believe they are mistaken.
I will find the hidden cavern,
Deep in cold, eternal mountains.
Far I traveled, long I journeyed,
Down the never-ending pathways.
Many say these hills are haunted,
Now I can confirm these rumors.

Crowded by unholy spirits,
That festered in the cold and darkness,
Pusing forth to try and harm me.
Even now I do remember
These were human,
once
And then
I fell
But not for long.
*rescue dialogue and whatnot*
I knew not where I was going,
Nor the home that I was finding,
Or the place among the heroes,
I would soon find myself earning.
END.

Wow! The backgrounds are really good, and poem is beautiful too! I could totally see you as a professional manga artist! (also I tried to read it right to left at first :P) Those designs framing it are cool too.

Tr:  I love the first panel, it looks like realistic rocks and yet it's cartoony too, it's really striking.  The intricate border panels are really nice too (I love those sorts of design elements), and the red and black together really increases the intensity.  It's a spiffy story snippet!

First of all, thank you!
Heheheh, I should probably say that the realistic rocks are in fact part of a photograph from an old issue of National Geographic. :P So is the bottom part of the second panel on that page... and I think part of the 3rd page as well. Using as many different materials as possible was one of the most fun parts of making that. (No, I did not go through the trash to find possible art materials. I went through the recycling.)

Cool narwhal Haiz!
I like the color combination. Is it markers over watercolor?

The combination certainly looks good, really clever technique.

Ohh, I also like how the start of the comic rhymes, or at least appears to.

----
Drew paladin Áine, mostly to color something.

Her palette is mostly whites and yellows, because color contrast with the antagonists is important, well at least I think it is.

Thanks!
She looks really cool, I love the way the colors look together. And her outfit in general just seems to work very well.
