Nimphy:
Introduction thread! In foreign languages! Yuppee!

Basically:

- Introduce yourself in your native language (unless the native language is English)
- Repeat the process (it doesn't have to be the same introduction) in all the languages you know, are learning, or have learned at some point in the past.
- Native speakers are welcome to correct mistakes and laugh at the others ;)
- Also provide an English translation for all the introductions!

I'll be slowly writing my introductions over the course of the day :)

Pak a shumë tre a katër) dhe...

Translation: Okay, let us begin with Albanian, what do you say? I was born in Albania, and I lived in Tirana more or less for eight years, you can call me Nimphy. My real name is as Albanian as it can be. Now I live in Italy, I'm fourteen, I'm learning several languages (More or less three or four) and... It would be best if I ended the introduction in Albanian and started with Italian. Bye! (Loanword from Italian "Ciao", which Albanians only use to say "goodbye" and not "hello")

Italiano: Ciao a tutti, potete chiamarmi Nimphy. Ah, e so qualche cosina di giapponese!

Translation: Hello everyone, you can call me Nimphy. I'm Albanian, I live in Italy, I'm fourteen, I study in a scientific liceo and I'm not too keen on re-writing that introduction from scratch. I speak Albanian, Italian and English, I can understand Spanish well and speak it a little, I understand French and I won't speak it if I can avoid it, I'm learning German and Norwegian. Ah, and I know a few things of Japanese!

Yahoo.

Translation: Hello everyone! I'm Nimphy, an Albanian girl who lives in Italy. I speak a little Spanish and it appears my keyboard doesn't have the "n" with the... The thing on the n. Yahoo.

Norwegian (dun-dun-dun-dunnnnnn): Hallo. Jeg heter Nimphy. Jeg bor i Italia... Hallo?

Translation: Hello. My name is Nimphy. I live in Italy... Hello?

Lenny:
Oooh, this is fun! Not sure if I'll conform and make them all exactly the same, but I can try~

Afrikaans first~ I suppose technically both Dutch and Afrikaans are my native languages (I learnt them both simultaneously), but I speak Afrikaans far more. More than English even, actually... haha.

Hallo almal! My naam is Lenny. Ek bly in Australië.

Dutch:

Hallo allemaal! Ik heet Lenny. Ik woon in Australië.

Norwegian (seveeeerely limited, I'm a total beginner and due to overwhelming school haven't practised much lately):

Hallo alle! Jeg heter Lenny. Jeg bor i Australie.

English for eeeverything:

Hello everyone! My name is/I am called Lenny. I live in Australia.

I now feel sad because the only Norwegian spellcheck dictionaries for Firefox are outdated and don't work on the new Firefox version.

Maybe once I know more Norwegian I'll make these more complicated, but for now, they're all super simple introductions, hehe.

Sparky Dragon:
Yay!

First, French. I really don't know very much, at all, but I can introduce myself:
Bonjour, mon nom est Sparky Dragon. Je parle un peu le français.

And Finnish:
Hei, nimeni on SparkyDragon. Minä puhu vähän suomi.

They both say, hello, my name is SparkyDragon. I speak a little bit of [language].

Headfinder:

There we go: I go by the name of Headfinder (by Nymphy's suggestion, by the way), I'm eighteen, I'm a spaniard, and even though I studied french for five years, and lived in th Catalonia as a child, I can't talk neither french nor catalonian anymore. A pity, really, but at least I still understand catalonian and some french.

Fenris:

Translation: Hello, my 'name' is Fenris, I am 21 years and I was born and raised on a small farm in Eastern Norway. I speak Norwegian and English fairly fluently, I know some German and I am learning Russian.

German: Hallo!
Translation: Hello! My name is Fenris and I am a farmer. I speak Norwegian and English well, a bit of German and I'm learning Russian.

Russian: ? ??????. ? ??????? ? ?????. ? ?????? ??????? ???????.
Translation: I am Fenris. I work at a farm. I speak a bit of Russian. (I probably mangled this quite badly)
