poetic script in columns (SOLVED)
« on: May 08, 2019, 01:02:04 PM »
How do I get a haiku to post in a column of three lines instead of a single long line on the comments section? When I type it in using the space bar to make the column it reverts to one line when I post.

How about instead
of space in the edit field
you try to ENTER?

(There's no outright formatting codes in BBcode syntax AFAIR, as in, "<br>" like in the comment sections.)

Disqus can't handle a full complement of html coding to get real columns, but you might wish to consider a touch of ASCII art, like periods between the phrases or something.  The main drawback of attempting to get horizontal spacing is that it will wrap anyway when viewed on a phone or tablet.

Using enter appears to do the trick. Thank you JoB.

I do not know if the linebreak works
Likely this is only new paragraphs
No way to tell
