I expect a demonstration of support to rival May Day in Moscow. A parade of giant Danish military vehicles rolling down the streets of Malmö and a band playing "Everything Is Awesome!" arranged for cello, kantele, guitar, and kazoo would be a good start.
Lars already thought about a card where we all doodle ourselves. It's been started. I have to hurry up and draw something that could resemble me...Ooooooh where is this? :0
Ooooooh where is this? :0
Not ready yet. Draw yourself and send it to Lars ;)Oh ok!
Oh ok!
Do the other Minions know?
Those on the chat do... the others do not I fear :(Hmmb.. Any way we can let them know? :3
Hmmb.. Any way we can let them know? :3
Hmmb.. Any way we can let them know? :3I can put it up in the news!
Mass PMing?Hehehehe I guess? X'D
I can put it up in the news!YEAH!! That would be great! Thanks Eich!
Draw yourself and send it to Lars ;)Dear God, what did he do to merit that!? ???
(Serious, I can draw lines, polar coordinate systems, Klein bottles and even conclusions, but left biology and art teachers alike scarred in my wake.)(http://www.mattcutts.com/images/blackhat-stickman.png) Sounds like something Randall Munroe would say. He does alright.

BATTLE STATIONS EVERYONE!! O___OHmm well that was the plan but I think it'll have to wait till next year or some other special occasion. It would be nice to all sing Happy Birthday though. If one person starts off and everyone else listens to their recording while singing it'd work. Once we get a lot of recordings I can mash them all together. I we'll have to decide on one language though...
A card sounds nice :3
I think the Musical Theatre crew were contemplating the idea of completing/polishing one of their musical numbers in time for the Big Day, but they're all pretty busy folk, and I don't know if they went ahead with that idea. :/
(Hehe ^ that made me think of every Minion singing Happy Birthday at once, which would sound like a ginormous multilingual giant X'D so maybe not the best idea if we don't want to give Minna nightmares.....)
Draw yourself and send it to Lars ;)
This is meGLORIOUS. Like...Grug blow drying his hair ;)

How much of ourselves do we draw? (That sounds weird- I don't mean it in a weird waaaay)

This is where I am right now... keeping it simple so that it might be done:cool!

yes yes yes!So, Finnish then?
edit: if we decide on finnish, here's the text (http://www.omniglot.com/songs/multilingual/birthday/finnish.htm), and a sung version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FI6c_r3dKg)
edit the 2nd: around here we use to sing it in every language the people present know of in sequence (often 2-3, up to ~5), but in this community it might take a lot of time... and also not sound as nice
What should I do with the finished version? If all goes well you could superpose all the voices and it would sound nice.
Wow Varjo!
Sigrid Marie... the night before the 9th, so before midnight on Thursday Finnish time
Hey! Is there still some space left? If yes then can you throw in some cookies from me and immortallymortal?
Keep some space for me! It's done, I'll send it in the next few hours! And you owe me a secret, Lars!
(But using simple shapes in a Word document is a good way to do it. Ellipses make good head shapes.)... circles. Circles are good. ::)
Question: How long are we supposed to spend on these?
... circles. Circles are good. ::)

(I suppose that adding the iconic bi-horned helmet would make the "roadwarrior gnome" idea more obvious, but we know what to think of those, don't we?)

Is that you Gordon Freeman? ... Sorry, I mean Gunther Freimann.Iconic tool ot IT specialists a.k.a. bent paperclip, not a crowbar. ;)
Should... should I send the one I posted in the "how do you look" thread, or should I doodle something new?
Question... will you be planing to put names under the portraits?
Question... will you be planing to put names under the portraits?
Or maybe a diagram underneath, like the ones in boxes of chocolates explaining the flavors?

(Hoverable labels, like here, (http://carbocoma.com/sees/boxnc1lb.asp) might be a bit much to expect poor LarsB to do...)
Here's my contribution.

I can't draw AT ALL, and it turns out I can't even sign my name legibly with the "draw freehand" tools in Microsoft Office (my only graphics-type tools). So what I did was make WordArt of my forum monicker, and fill it with the colors from a photo I took of my neighborhood. That's about as personal an image as I can muster.
Lars, if you can't use this image as a PowerPoint slide, let me know and I can save it to a different format.
Thanks for arranging all our images into the card display! It seems like the perfect birthday gift for such a gifted artist!
Arrgghhh... My reader gives me a VERY confused result from that powerpoint slide.... can u post a jpg?
soo... my attempt at a digital self portrait was a failure :-\ should I:
- try again, as a pencil/pen sketch only?
- make a better cut of Sailor Emil? (lineart is by TrinkaSten)
- try to find time and paint a blonde Sailor Braidy?
cruel dilemma :-X
u decide... the most important thing is that u tell me that u want to be in the card and point me to a picture
=)

Okay :D
After several years of wearing nothing but black, I walked into a store in Copenhagen and bought that hoodie. That was one and a half year ago. I have never looked back.
Do you want me to PM it to you as well?
Can I please be on the card as well :)
I hope that it'll be really full of pictures by the big day
So perfect! I love the Emil-esque sparks and soot (and the Spark-esque labcoat and goggles, which will no doubt catch the attention of the many other Girl Genius fans here).
umm... guys? I cant see any pic you are uploading. when asked to open in a new tab, it gives me the 404.At least Lars' pics are not clickable links, clicking turns them fullsize for me, no "open in new tab" in the context menu. Can you open one (the latest version) from this normal link (http://i.imgur.com/AAGbecE.jpg)?
I'm not hugely active here or in the comments, but I'm a really big fan of the comic, so I'd like to contribute a little something to this. I know it's nothing special, and pretty late, but for what it's worth:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B94UYp9gjZs8eWVwamVMVk1mSWs/view?usp=sharing
This is probably a very dumb noobie question, but how does one go about sending a pictre to Lars? Thank you in advance!
Aw, no need to apologize for asking a question! :) We were all new here at some point (barely 4 months even for us veterans).
Anyway, you can either post your contribution as a regular post here (Lars will see and collect it), or PM (Private Message) him. The Private Message icon is the 2nd from the left under everyone's forum picture, the little cartoon-speech-bubble.
Either way, please don't *attach* your file -- link to it through whatever external host you use (Tumblr, Google Drive, Imgur, Dropbox, etc.).
Hope that helps!

nah. can't see it.... I'm afraid that that severely limits the possibilities ... :(
My birthday contribution from Ireland :)
spent way too long (again) reshadowing/highlighting/smoothing instead of working, but now it's DONE! Maybe now I can do the stuff I must :-\
a mirrored and only slightly disproportionate (and also, greyscale) version of me
*for the "how do you look Enthusiasts": my hair is actually longer, it just didn't show in the pic I used as reference*
Ok.. dumb question from me... where should we post this when done?
Heh, here's mine:
Not 100% accurate or anything, but a good idea of what I look like, nevertheless. Man, this whole thing is such a good idea~
Alright, so we decided in the chat that it would probably be best to use the comments section on the comic, preferably with the use of an "@Minna" at the start of the post (so her name will be in big, red, shiny, attention-grabbing letters).
... I'm afraid that that severely limits the possibilities ... :(
Can you use the imgur.com website at all? I'ld guess that it might be blacklisted in a number of content filtering solutions ...
How about a short time-travel really early tomorrow and put it on the comments just before the new page goes up? The rest of us should avoid the time-travelling as Minna gets å bit overwhelmed when comments are piling up before the page is even there...
That sounds like a good idea to me, since I think she likes to delete the time travel posts before the page is up, so she's almost certain to read it, especially if it's just the one comment with a big link in the middle and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MINNA in capital letters. I don't think an email would let her know nearly as well, but if she does miss the time travel, we can always post it in regular comments over the day.Minna once said that she looks at the comments for a while when she's posting the update anyway, i.e., every comment section gets looked at shortly after the comic's been posted, and around the time the next page goes up. Considering that the number of comments went a bit through the roof since, I don't think that it's a given anymore that she'll see a specific comment at the latter occasion - so putting one up "early" by means of time travel would be the obvious choice.

Back when the hoster had problems, the alert that successfully got Minnas attention reached her through Tumblr, however.
I know there's at least *some* text formatting available, would it be possible to make the whole "happy birthday" message shine in big red letters?Well maybe if you make it into a context diff (https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/466253-what-html-tags-are-allowed-within-comments-) or somesuch ... :-X

I just want to look at your art forever and surround myself with its amazingness T_T
P.S. are you still going to draw modern-day AUs for the cast?
*sits up* I'M AWAKE!! I'm awake! Please don't stop this!Have I stumbled upon a new tool for manipulation? Now, how can I exploit this...
Eeeee super late and I'm so sorry but I didn't have time until now D:That is... far too cute.
That is... far too cute.
The ears, ohmygosh.
Thaaanks! I found it impossible to draw myself somehow realisticly without spending way too long on it, so I opted to return to something I'm familiar with. I used to draw figures like this all the time. I even made my little sister a colouring book with more than 20 drawings. I know the style so well by now that I don't really have to think about it when I draw - the perfect choice when you're short on time!
Wellllll, if you ever by chance need an idea for a gift for me, you have it :3
we are waiting for one last image =)
and as I said earlier... WOW people are talented!
Ahh! Is it too late? I have a thing too! It is coming! I am bad at technology. D-:pencil-and-paper is what works best for such things imho (unless you got a cintiq that is, or are very good/experienced)
Up there is my picture. (thanks mama!) something is terribly wrong with my hand drawing skills. :-[
AAAAAAAAAAANNND we close the card for this year!!!!!

This was a great thing to do. We should do something similar every year.
Goal 2, Involve more PeopleWe might want to check that house Minna wants to buy, y'know, before she moves in. A chorus line needs a bit of elbow room. :P
Goal 3, More media, multimedia
So happy we did this and that she enjoyed it so much! Yes to next year being more and better! ((Mostest Bestest!))even more bester???
Well judging by her reaction, I'd say this was a success. :)
Thanks to everyone who participated!
In particular, thanks to Lars_B for putting all our contributions together and making the whole look better than the sum of its parts. He wins a whole bottle of Awesome Sauce!
Thank you so much Lars for creating such a completely outstanding card - it's just beautiful!!!

What about her birthday? 9th January I think. If so, I'm in.ahhh that's a good idea!
I think this is an awesome idea :) Sadly, as I can't draw to save my life, I'll have to leave this to the more talented members of the forumaw I think writing would be ok as long as you put a creative commons disclaimer on it/it wasn't speculative (I haven't checked creator/fanfic stuff in a while)? and there's always other types of fanworks
I remember Hetalia fandom's Himaruya-appreciation package; didn't contribute myself, but it seemed to go over well.
Doing something for Minna's birthday sounds like a wonderful idea.
/looks at to-do list
/drags hand down face
/adds it into the scedule anyway
OH yeah, I wanted to draw for that too, however I gave up because I drew something but I closed it without saving and all lost, I didn't feel like restarting and the time was kinda up to do one.... so never did any. that was pretty recent thing....
but we could do that, however that one was a big thing, many arts put into a big one, which was printed and the printed poster was sent to himaruya.
I wonder if she comes to the forum and check into some threads and she would see this, then no surprise? lol
I don't think she comes here very often at all, but if you all are worried about her seeing the surprise, you can always ask one of the staff to move it to the personal board so it will only show up to members. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have an account (though I could be wrong!)No, Minna doesn't have an account (or if she does, she's never used it) and to the best of my knowledge she very rarely comes here, if at all.
I'm up for poetry. Perhaps a meditation on the creative process, in verse? Or a drinking song for Sigrun's hall? Or an anthem for the Cleansers? Could do any.If we pick a theme, I could probably compose a piece and someone could write lyrics for it.
If we pick a theme, I could probably compose a piece and someone could write lyrics for it.
That sounds like a good idea! I'm in! :D
As long as the lyrics don't need to be in Norwegian, I'm good with that.Great! Any ideas? I like the idea of a drinking song for the hunters.
Drink to the Health of the Weavers (variant: Drink to the Health of the Dorsai ) has always been a favorite of mine, but it's a pretty well-established tune. It mixes well with Farewell to the Creeks , as was done on Shai Dorsai!.hmm i'll check that out!
OK, there's your "straw man", go ahead and kick the stuffing outta him! :D
Hmm, I think we're thinking of different events. The one I'm thinking of was in 2009, or maybe it was 2010? I can't actually remember. But it was a long time ago. It was an internet-only gift, no printing.Yeah I was thinking of the digital internet gift (I was pretty young at the time and sending off fanart was scary to me haha). For one thing it'd be insane coordinating the gift to all arrive at once, and also I am not sure asking Minna for her address to pass to approximately a lot of people would go over well haha.
My assumption was that Shoop meant an internet-only thing as well. So, it would just be a matter of making a thread on the forum for it, and everyone putting their fanwork in the thread, and then someone would send the link to Minna. Shoop, can you confirm?

Rabbit had the awesome idea of us all drawing personal cats and then do a collage of SSSS-Fans-Cat/kitty images!aaaa that is such a cute idea! personal cats, as in drawing ourselves as kitties, is that what you mean?
those who don't want to draw could write a poem or a text or something?
Flik was talking about recording something along those lines
What do we think?

Cats......... uh, okay.HMMmmMMcats aren't my thing but I shouldn't whine about that since other people like the idea
Haiz, we did drawings of ourselves last year.
HMMmmMM
what if....... we expanded it to animals that could be in the ssss-verse? it would be fun to draw ourselves as scandinavian wildlife maybe? cats and dogs and squirrels and moose and bears..... and idk and since you did portraits last year.......... but maybe we're too many active minnions now compared to then, so a collage like that is probably harder to make??
but it does feel a little unfair to writer types though.

I'm pretty sure even you can manage a kitty! you can draw it like letters: Σ:3ughh I've been doing math all day so I thought that was a ratio when I first saw it...
see? easy!
Oooooh, [snip] [/snip]Minna's grosslings :P
As for writers, that stuff is more difficult to fit into a card than pictures :/ How about a verse of Runo, or just a few lines of birthday wishes? There are so many of you now, and I'm afraid that pages of writing may be a bit much (considering how much of you guys here write I hardly think this number is beyond the realm of possibility :3)
haha yeah maybe we don't even have to draw ourselves as animals, just........ animals.................... i mean i misunderstood the idea to begin with. But ssss/artd animals are definitely something the artist side is interested in, then? :3c
We could do a luonto thing? Everyone could do something related to that. It would be personal and SSSS related and you could take it into stories or any kind of art you wanted.Yeah! It would be cool if we all made drawings of our luontos. (I'm thinking a watercolour would look nice)
Everybody draw cats! Kittens! Little fluffballs of furry death!... dangit, there goes the Randall Munroe (http://www.xkcd.com/) cop-out. :-\
ok... I drew myself in cat costume

The Squirrels helped...
The image can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rxycnjlya4dqqdy/LarsB_Cat_self.png?dl=0 In PNG format without background
Hmm... if we do a homepage maybe we should do small versions of the images and then if one click on them they become bigger?
I'd like to join but what I supposed to do then?uhh im not sure if there is any official consensus, but it seems that for us drawy people, we can draw cats or other animals that fit in a minnaverse, that may or may not represent you.
And I guess that cat has just received the book, right?mmmmmmmmmyeeeeeeeeessssssssss

Hi! I also would like to participate :) So the idea is to draw ourselves as cats :3?Yeah, it looks like it! :3

Any concensus yet on what we non-artists should do?
but I'm in, we will have any deadline? like before the birthday to collect them.
Welp, finally I managed to paint myself as a cat! A... Finnish longcat type. Yes.
Do I get away with this?
Also I can't lie that this (http://i.imgur.com/mftdUFL.png) didn't happen sometime along the way...
Did I mention I am not an artist?Great idea :D
(https://i.imgur.com/NBMQtCg.jpg)
Maybe I should have done it all saint-exupéry and left the box closed...
I did ask before, but missed the answer, if any - could we non-artists do anything? A haiku? A greeting maybe?
Thanks, Scout, Kjeks! Should I put it here?
I drew me 'n Mélu together! ;p So this can do for both of us.

I have a sleepy kitty for Minna :3You had me at the combo of "kitty" and "blender" ... :P
Never tried painting anything this way before. I've always just spammed the blender tool.
So I was running around stressing because I had no idea what sort of cat to do and no idea how to do it. And then it hit me. Hell cat.

Momentous event
Cheers a gloomy winter day!
Minna's birthday comes!
Have you told Viola or Eriaror that you put this here? I'm a bit worried that it might be overlooked. :(
It would be a real shame, too.
Don't worry! I added it to the data file :D

The birthday-page doesn't work for me, how boring. I wanted to see how cool it would look! Instead I just get this message: "Could not load data file: catsforminna.json"It won't load for me either -o- ah well
Maybe I just need to try again later *nods*

Sooooo... I was editing it to fix Róisín's name. And I messed something up. This is 100% my fault. I am right now working on it, and hopefully it will be fixed soon.
*Róisín blushes and hides in a corner being very apologetic for difficult Gaelic accents (I presume that was the problem?)* So sorry Viola!
I FIXED IT IT'S ALL GOOD NOW IT SHOULD WORK.
(note to self: make card more festive)I like your card :) Nobody told it had to been only "festive" !
Thanks Mélusine :) That's true, we didn't have rules on what the cards should look like, except "cats". I didn't know what to expect for the context where they were shown, so I went for something generic. But I'd like to make something more birthday-themed next time :DYes, something more festive would be nice.
We could maybe make a short comic! So, the writer types write up the plot, then we give the art-types one panel each to draw or something? ^^I thought about the possibility of doing a comic, but in the end, what would be visible would be the work of the drawing artists once again. The plot and some speech bubbles don't really allow any writer to show off their skill with words. So I think something that allows for longer texts (at least a few sentences per person or small pieces produced in group work) would be better.
I actually thought about a video or something of fanart with the crew singing their contries happy birthday-songs, but that would require even more cooperation I guess... But it could be pretty fun and... wait, that could also work as a comic, I guess, with the crew each trying to outvoice each other and arguing about which language is the best. Tuuri would of course win since Minna is Finnish, although Emil's argument about Minna speaking Swedish as well will probably be pretty good and oh my goddess get these ideas out, I can't draw well enough for it!
I thought about the possibility of doing a comic, but in the end, what would be visible would be the work of the drawing artists once again. The plot and some speech bubbles don't really allow any writer to show off their skill with words. Are we doing this in order to impress Minna by showing of how awesome we are, or are we doing this because we want to entertain her and make her happy? I believe a comic can show a person's abilities as a writer, but maybe I'm a bit biased since I'm an author xD
Although your idea with the video does sound enticing. I'm pretty sure someone can make one regardless of what the next birthday present is going to be :DIf I could draw well enough I could make the video! arghblrg, I wish I could draw well enough. Not motivated enough to train though, anyone out there want to help make the pictures? Haha, j/k, I'll just put this idea in the idea-book where it'll be forgotten!
Hahaha! It's truly too early to be talking about this :PActually, no. If we're going to do a big collaboration it is not too early (okay, maybe a few days early). Making a collaboration would force us to start working on the present much earlier than we did this year, in order to make sure everything gets done and work together. Mostly for the work together part. Not saying that the drawing style need to be alike in all the pictures/panels/whatever, but it'd be weird if we had for example Sigrun tied to a chair down a large hole in one panel and in the next panel fighting against a giant that just suddenly poofed into existence on the third floor of a building.
Oh hey, what if we did make a comic, in which they find various books or birthday cards, and the books/cards would be clickable and then a short story or a greeting or something would pop up and oh my goddess, someone stop me before I dig this hole any deeper! xD
Sounds nice, though I must admit I see this as a small game rather than a comic. A point-n-click maybe, with the player exploring the Cat-Tank looking for birthday cards? Programming-wise, this is actually fairly easy to make (three weeks tops if all the graphics were ready) and we could put there everything from art through writings to even songs, if somebody'd do those.
How about an illustrated novel? Or a collection of illustrated shortstories and illustrated poems. More freedom of style for individual artists (both writers and illustrators) and if it woul be a collection it could also include comics and standalone images and stories.Yeah, I think having the option to do what one individually likes is important, although it should probably be tied together by a theme.
Are we doing this in order to impress Minna by showing of how awesome we are, or are we doing this because we want to entertain her and make her happy?Maybe "to show off" wasn't the word I should have chosen for the translation, since I simply meant something that allows everyone, whatever they end up doing, to show their skill in the chosen field of subject.
I believe a comic can show a person's abilities as a writer, but maybe I'm a bit biased since I'm an author xDFor me what you need to write a good plot and what you need to formulate a pleasant or meaningful sentence are two different sets of skills. Even someone who can neither draw nor write might have the aptitude to write an awesome plot. And what about the people who prefer to write poems, rather than long stories? They should have the chance to contribute, too.
But if we want to make a collaboration between drawers and writers I guess an illustrated short story or 10. Problem I can see is that written stories take longer to go through and do we really want to keep mMinna occupied from the comic for that long? 0=)They do take longer and we should certainly not bury her under a hundred pages, but Minna has pretty awesome time management - otherwise she would never have gotten this far, so I am not too worried. We'd just need to pay attention that the size doesn't get out of hand.

Asterales, as a C# app, yes, and given my chosen field of studies I think by December I should be able to do something embedd'able online, if that's what we'd prefer. The biggest part would be for someone to provide background graphics, because my art skills are nowhere near up to par.I keep being amazed at what kind of skills people on here have! :)
I like the idea of an illustrated collection of short stories, poems and the like. Maybe we could make the stories drabbles, to keep the whole thing from becoming 'bigger than Ben Hur'? And people who wanted to draw short comics could add them in too - it could be Minna's Birthday Anthology? Given that Eriaror and Viola organised this year's one, (thanks again, both of you), perhaps they may have some ideas as to how hard and how much work it would be, or the feasibility of the project?
*Takes a look on the thread and think that we have sooooooo many months for that* :)Hahaha. Kinda ;D
Given that Eriaror and Viola organised this year's one, (thanks again, both of you), perhaps they may have some ideas as to how hard and how much work it would be, or the feasibility of the project?Thankfully the one we did this year allowed me a page design where you can have the PHP script take stuff from a list-like data file and build the final thing from that automatically, so it was really easy to add stuff to it; the majority of the work was done by you all! :)
And maybe we should have a poll on what to do next year? How does one make a poll? And how soon should we do it? I feel like I don't have a clue about anything...I can add a poll to this thread, but we should decide on some options to put into that poll first. :D

Just a reminder: some authors don't like to read fanfiction of their work even if they encourage people to write it (partly because of complications in case fanfic ideas overlap with what they already planned for the story, but also for other reasons). I think it's much safer to keep things unrelated to the comic as much as possible. What a fan would like as a gift, and what the author likes, can be very different things.*Nods* I agree with that. Not, errr... overwhelming Minna seems a good thing to keep in mind :)

And as an artist who has worked in teams before, I can tell you coordinating a comic made by multiple people is difficult even when all people involved are pros. Not saying this to discourage anyone who wants to do this, but you should know what to expect :) I think small stories or poems written by a person and illustrated by another are much more manageable. And there should definitely be the option for individual contributions, for those who just aren't team players.
I love both the disorganized Skalds archive and the point and click idea, as they are the most including. They give room for both individual latecomers, and for collaboration. That way, if someone collaborated on a story, it could be included as a click-this-book, if someone made a picture or poem or illustrated poem it could be a click-this-card, and if someone wanted to make a sound sample it could be a click-this-cassette. That's doable in terms of programming, right? I'd be more than willing to provide background art for something like that.
This is a great idea :D We could have a drawing of a cozy room with pictures on the walls, a bookcase, and all kinds of clickable objects that reveal more things. I imagine it with slight animation, like a fireplace and snow outside :D Or alternatively a ruined Silent World house with all kinds of salvageable stuff. I'd also be willing to provide background art for this if needed. I can't do animations yet, but learning to make gifs is on my to-do list this year. Would it be possible to add some looping animation, Eri?

For animated parts, you can either embed it into the big pic and have the entire thing one animated image or, alternatively, overlay the animated parts separately on a still big pic. Between the two, I'd rather do the second one; it's only a little more work, and it allows for being able to toggle animation on and off, if someone has a not-so-recent PC.

Basically, as long as we only have still images with clickable parts, the thing can be put together in a day at max, given that all its parts are ready.
If you want to be able to look around or turn around however, things get a lot more complicated, we might even have to break out WebGL and stuff, in which I haven't got experience yet.

She has obviously come across things like the Kalevala or The Thing, but IIRC she only said that she took those as inspiration for the mild horror story that is SSSS and its predecessor, not that she enjoyed them beyond that ...

I agree that choosing a framework that allows contributors to do what they can and like is the route to go. Nonetheless, some guidance on the topic should be in order - otherwise, y'all'ld risk getting the blueprints of the Eno power plant from me ... ;)
If we absolutely want to include other walls of the same room, we can draw them as a static image as well, like it was done in old adventure games.

IIRC, we don't know what Internet connection Minna has.No guarantees, true, but. The Nordics have been pioneers of getting broadband to noncommercial use (I still remember ftp.funet.fi and its Swedish counterpart having Mbps uplinks when my university happily upgraded from two- to three-digit kbps) and residents. At the very least, she's operating her site and reading the comments thereon (including Youtube videos?) without problems.
And JoB, what is wrong with blueprints of a power plant? Might be useful to Minna.Well, it's a bit of a random example, but it is based on the fact that - mind the Mighty Morphin' Mikkeli Train Station, or the team's firearms - Minna doesn't delve very deeply into technical details when expanding the SSSSverse.

And regarding topic - we still have 364 days to do this, remember. Tons of time to figure stuff out and pry some information out of Minna (in cunning and most gentle manner, obviously).
And so... http://www.sssscomic.com/comic.php?page=447#comment-2450613958
Wasn't the approach supposed to be cunning and gentle... :DExactly!

Sc0ut: Well played sir! She also mentioned being very fond of a marshland nature reserve near where she lives, and riding bicycles. Minna also talked about a hiking trip she did last summer with her mother and aunt, the trip where she put up photos on her blog, and her art shows how much she loves nature, and how observant she is of its fine detail. Not sure why, but she does give the impression of liking poetry and music. And of course folklore!I think she might also like dragons maybe? I think remember there being a lot of dragons in her older art...? Also anthropomorphic animals ;3
Thanks, Vulpes! It was a pleasure.
You won't be mad at me if I don't include that last one, right? I've just made another update and have (another) important thing to do... Can we save that for next year?
